Commercial Litigation Associate - Construction

Cozen O’Connor is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join our fast-growing Construction Litigation practice. Candidates must have at least four years of experience. This role is open to candidates throughout the state of California, not limited to Los Angeles. We are also open to candidates with broader experience. This is high‑stakes, non‑insurance litigation involving large multimillion‑dollar construction disputes, as well as complex business contract claims, False Claims Act matters, bidding disputes, and statutory enforcement issues. What You’ll Do Represent owners, developers, contractors & design professionals Handle all phases of litigation: motions, discovery, depositions, hearings Work on cases in state and federal court, plus international arbitration Take on meaningful responsibility early, with mentorship and training available What We’re Looking For Strong commercial litigation skills (construction experience preferred but not required) Excellent writing, analytical, and communication abilities Technical/engineering background is a plus California, in good standing licensed candidates (statewide applicants encouraged) Why Join Us Best in class practice group Major matters with multimillion‑dollar exposure Flexible location: open to candidates state wide California, in good standing licensed candidates (statewide applicants encouraged) Supportive, collaborative team that invests in your development The salary range for this role is $240,000 to $300,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
