Qualifications Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required. RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first. Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Understanding of confidentiality laws (HIPAA guidelines) governing provider-patient relationship. Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and exhibit empathy. Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter, critical thinking, set priorities, work both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to teamwork and maintaining confidentiality as needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to handle sensitive/confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed. Job Specific Duties Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership as applicable to assigned area(s). Communicates with assigned leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities. Performs accurate CNA assessment while taking patient’s vital signs. Informs appropriate stakeholders of any abnormal vital signs and/or changes in the patient’s condition per department protocol. Maintains patient privacy as defined by Logan Health policies and procedures. Assists patient with activities of daily living as applicable. Accurately and timely documents the care rendered to the patient as defined by department procedure. Assists in maintaining function by maintaining inventory, restocking rooms, supply areas, and equipment for safety and cleanliness. Assists with maintaining compliance with Medicare and all applicable regulatory standards. Works with stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks. Assists in administrative duties and day-to-day operations per department procedure. Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient, provides personal care per department procedure. Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled. Other duties may be assigned consistent with knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job. Shift & Schedule Variable (United States of America) Schedule: PRN. Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and may be adjusted as needed. PRN positions (Casual, As Needed, Per Diem) offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, supporting the team as needed. PRN employees may participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
