Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing CT imaging procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, and maintaining high standards of quality in imaging. The technologist will work in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, providing care across various patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, and adults.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients with attention to detail and patient comfort.
• Administer contrast media as required and prepare patients for procedures.
• Ensure quality control of images and maintain equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of previous charge experience.
• ARRT certification in CT is required.
• EPIC charting system experience is preferred.
• Experience in Level 2 trauma centers is preferred.
• NICU and PICU experience preferred for night shift placements.
