Role Description The Center Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Westfield, IN, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the childcare center. This includes managing staff schedules and performance, ensuring compliance with licensing and safety requirements, and maintaining high standards of classroom quality and child supervision. The Center Director builds strong relationships with families through tours, enrollment support, ongoing communication, and resolution of concerns. The role involves monitoring center financial performance, supporting marketing and community outreach activities, and implementing curriculum and educational programs in alignment with company guidelines. The Center Director leads and coaches the team to deliver an exceptional experience for children and families while fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture. Qualifications Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including staff supervision, coaching, and performance feedback. Experience in early childhood education or childcare center operations, with strong knowledge of licensing, safety, and regulatory standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging families, supporting staff, and collaborating with community partners. Organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage daily center operations, handle multiple priorities, and respond to emergent situations. Basic business and administrative skills, including familiarity with budgeting, enrollment management, and use of computer systems and software. Ability to work on-site full time in Westfield, IN, and meet any state-required qualifications for childcare center directors. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
