Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, social outings, and other scheduled destinations. Assistresidents with getting in and out of the vehicle as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety. Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and routine inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues. Provide friendly and professional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for residents. Assistwith loading and unloading mobility aids such as walkers andwheelchairs. Keepaccuratetransportation logs and schedules. Report and document any driver related incidents to include but not limited to maintenance concerns/malfunctions,propertydamage,residentand staff safety related incidents. Communicate with staff and residentsregardingtrip details and any schedule changes. Ability toassistseniors and individuals with mobility challenges. Strong communicationand customer service skills. Knowledge of local roads and routes. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff,vendorsand thegeneral public. Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly and understand that for each resident the facility is considered the Residents home. Mustdemonstratethe ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual. Must be honest, ethical, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others. Responsible for ensuring that all employees are providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Perform job duties for residents and with team members in a courteous and professional mannerdemonstratingcompany core values at all times. Take the initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority. Meet and greet visitors in a friendly, helpful manner (visitors include anyone who visits the community; specifically, current residents families and friends, prospective residents and their families, referral sources,vendorsand regulators). Answer phones appropriately, according to company and community standards. Communicate professionally and cooperate with supervisors and all community personnel. Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and, at times, hostile people within the community. Must call concierge day prior to departure for anyadditionaloutings that have been added. Ensure compliance andunderstanding ofregulationsregardingresidents rights. Perform other duties as assigned, including supportofother departments as needed. Maintain updated MVR state license and a good MVR record, per policy, and cooperation with ongoing MVR checks as needed. Report in real times any motor vehicle/driving related accidents orviolation(personal /professional) to ensure policy and agency requirementsremaincompliant. Depending on experience and performance standing may be assigned job lead duties and act as support for peers as needed and may rotate duties with other leads.
