This role focuses on geriatric and adult patients, with some pediatric care in the emergency department. Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Manage ventilators, CPAP, and BiPap
• Conduct nebulizer therapy
• Assist with a-line placement and intubation
• Perform vent weaning and extubation
• Analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs)

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
