Onsite Teacher - Paid Internship - Fall 2026

Job Description Part‑time contract job or paid internship – Onsite Teacher – Fall 2026. Compensation $50-$85 per single class shift, additional for multi‑class shifts (2.5–5 hour shifts). About Us CyberTeck Academy offers after‑school and summer camp services with a focus on computer science, game design, and related topics for students grades 1‑7. We partner with hundreds of schools in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Availability Minimum of 2 days per week required. Preference for candidates who can work 3 or more days a week, especially in Howard County. Locations and Time Slots Virginia – Loudoun, Fairfax, Prince William, Montgomery, Howard, Frederick, DC. Fairfax: 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm. Prince William County: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm (≈3.5 hrs). Saturday classes – 8:15 am – 11 am or 9:45 am – 12 pm US EST. Montgomery County (MD): 2:45 pm – 6:45 pm US EST (as many days as possible). Howard County (MD): 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm US EST (as many days as possible). DC: 2 pm – 6 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Requirements Familiar with video and/or computer games. Enjoys working with and teaching kids aged 5‑14. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work well independently. Must pass a criminal and sex‑offender background check. Must have own vehicle for transporting company laptops and equipment. Basic experience with programming, Minecraft, Lego Robotics, or 3D modeling software is a plus. Child‑care, teaching, or tutoring experience is a plus. Duties Pick up equipment from the local facility and travel to assigned school. Show up on time – we are responsible for children. Set up laptops and related equipment for 8‑12 children. Teach Minecraft programming, game design, animation, and/or Lego robotics classes. Ensure students safely leave with appropriate parents or staff. Additional Information Paid training will be available for new employees in the first month of each season. Training starts in August 2026 and work follows thereafter.
