Xfinity Field Sales Consultant

Job Summary Responsible for the promotion and sale of Comcast products and services to include video, high‑speed Internet, voice and XFINITY Home. Utilizes advanced knowledge of Comcast's products and services as well as sales process experience to maximize sales and effectively work assigned turf. Core Responsibilities Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Comcast products and promotes and sells offerings to individual customers by knocking every door within assigned territory. Displays thorough and recent competitive knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing and campaigns for video, high‑speed internet, voice and XFINITY Home. Effectively communicates and develops rapport with customers, evaluating their existing and potential product needs and making recommendations. Increases customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models as well as competitive advantages over other service providers. Evaluates competitive offers and frames responses to show the benefits of Comcast. Creates and executes turf management plans without assistance, utilizing experience‑based sales technique and operating independently. Displays confidence in selling ability, strong time‑management and organizational skills, and meets and exceeds sales goals established by local market. Independently establishes and organizes daily sales activities, generates business through approved lead‑generation methods and implements effective sales closing techniques to achieve product installation goals. Demonstrates consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales environment with emphasis on business‑to‑consumer sales. Possesses effective communication, organizational, people and customer service skills, and demonstrates strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases). Meets physical requirements of the job, including walking and/or traveling door‑to‑door for considerable distances in all weather conditions, and maintaining any required credentials and licenses for selling or designing alarm systems. Consistently exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance, maintains regular attendance, and works nights, weekends, variable schedules and overtime as necessary. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 2–5 years of relevant work experience in residential sales. Advanced knowledge of Comcast products and services. Strong selling experience reflected in required relevant experience. Physical ability to walk or travel door‑to‑door for significant distances in all weather conditions. Ability to obtain and maintain any credentials and/or licenses necessary to sell and/or design alarm systems as required by law. Compensation Base Pay: $55,000.00 per year. Targeted Commission: $25,500 annual. Total Target Compensation (Base Pay plus Targeted Commission): $80,500.00.
