Northbrook Rehabilitation Center is actively hiring a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to safely administer medications and support resident care. The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) plays a key role in medication accuracy, resident safety, and daily clinical support. As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), you will work closely with nursing staff to ensure medications are delivered correctly and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications as the Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in accordance with state regulations and physician orders

• Observe residents for medication effectiveness and potential adverse reactions

• Accurately document medication administration and report concerns promptly

• Communicate resident condition changes to nursing staff

• Follow medication safety, infection control, and documentation standards

• Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Current state CMA certification

• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
