Manufacturing Lead

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Lead is responsible for coordinating the production, storage, and staging of Planet Care Biofilters products. This position operates manufacturing equipment, manages workflow within the warehouse, and helps ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in the growth of a locally owned manufacturing company serving the wastewater industry. As Planet Care continues to expand, the Manufacturing Lead will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and help shape the future of the company’s operations.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly position: $20 – 30 per hour

• Expected schedule: 30–40 hours per week

• Hours may vary based on production demands and seasonal workload.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate equipment used to break apart, hydrate, and package raw materials.

• Safely operate a forklift and bagging equipment.

• Coordinate the manufacturing and staging of Planet Care products.

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming raw materials and supplies.

• Organize and maintain finished goods inventory.

• Coordinate warehouse layout and product staging to maximize efficiency.

• Manage daily workflows and assist in troubleshooting production issues.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace.

• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.

• Assist with inventory counts and material tracking as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Leadership and communication skills.

• Problem-solving and organizational abilities.

• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills.

• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment preferred.

• Forklift experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in a warehouse environment.

• Valid Drivers License
