Our organization, located in Baker City, Oregon, operates a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) dedicated to serving Baker County and nearby communities in eastern Oregon. We are currently seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine or Family Practice physician who is board-certified or board-eligible to join our Emergency Department, which holds a Level IV Trauma Designation in the state. The ideal candidate will embrace a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care and will support the regional requirements of the Oregon Trauma System as well as our Trauma Network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a Level IV Trauma Center.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Support the regional needs of the Oregon Trauma System.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA residency program in family practice or emergency medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in emergency medicine or family practice.
• Possess an active Oregon medical license and obtain privileges at our facility and affiliated hospitals as necessary; valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA.

This position is a .9 FTE role, requiring 24-hour shifts, totaling 72 shifts per year.
