Requirements

• Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
• Infection Control License
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Certification: X-Ray Certification is required.
Compliance: Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare infection control expertise.
Technical Skills: Understanding of dental terminology and prosthodontics; experience with 3D scanners is a plus (but we will train you!).
Experience: Entry-level candidates are welcome! Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.
Traits: Detail-oriented with strong health education and counseling skills.

Job Description

Clinical Support: Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures; prepare treatment rooms and ensure all dental supplies are stocked.
Imaging & Tech: Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and utilize 3D scanners for digital impressions.
Patient Care: Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care; provide extra support and a welcoming environment for pediatric patients.
Sanitization: Perform dental sterilization and disinfection procedures; clean medical equipment and maintain strict infection control protocols.
Administration: Maintain accurate patient charting and medical documentation in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
