Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry

Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) in the MedSurg/Telemetry unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating treatment plans. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to manage multiple patients, and expertise in medical-surgical and telemetry care. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting. Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and responses to treatment. Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-care instructions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of MedSurg experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required before the start date). Preferred Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Experience in critical care with familiarity in MedSurg ratios and acuity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
