Assessment Specialist RN - Behavioral Health Intake

The Assessment Specialist RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments in the Behavioral Health Intake unit. This position caters to a diverse patient population, emphasizing compassion and proactive engagement in mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments for patients presenting with mental health issues.
• Recognize and document mental health conditions accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate treatment plans.
• Manage patient interactions with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in mental health care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• BLS Certification.
• Handle With Care (HWC) training.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health and intake settings.

Schedule

This position is a night shift role, scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours. Weekend hours are required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
