Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a flex-acuity Neuro Telemetry/Stepdown unit ranging from PCU/Stepdown to Telemetry levels
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
• Monitor and assess neurological and telemetry patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to like units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Adhere to holiday coverage requirements, including availability during designated holiday periods

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of PCU/Stepdown experience required
• BLS certification required
• Must be available to work every other weekend
• Must be available to work 4 of the following 8 designated holiday shifts: Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, December 26, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Candidates residing within 70 miles of the facility are considered local and are not eligible for this position

• ACLS certification strongly preferred
• NIHSS certification strongly preferred
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or Teaching Hospital environment
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
