Spacecraft Thruster Assembly and Welding Technician Now Hiring: Spacecraft Thruster Assembly and Welding Technician Location: Natick, MA Pay Rate: $30.00-$60.00/hour, based on experience Build the technology that helps power satellites in space. We are seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Thruster Assembly & Welding Technician to join a cutting-edge aerospace manufacturing team. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with precision welding experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work with miniature components in a cleanroom environment. Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Technical training in welding, manufacturing, aerospace, or a related field preferred Experience Requirements Experience with precision welding, micro-welding, TIG, laser, or electron-beam welding Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical work instructions Experience assembling small, high-precision mechanical components Aerospace, electronics, medical device, or similar manufacturing experience preferred Job Duties Assemble spacecraft thruster components and cathode assemblies Perform precision welding on thin, high-temperature metals including titanium and refractory alloys Micro-assemble miniature parts using microscopes, tweezers, and specialized tools Read and follow detailed blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing procedures Inspect welds and assemblies using magnification equipment to ensure quality standards Integrate completed components into advanced propulsion systems Complete production documentation and quality records accurately Work in a controlled cleanroom environment while following contamination-control procedures Physical Capabilities Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to work with small components for extended periods Strong attention to detail and concentration Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods as needed Employee Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts Health Savings Account (HSA) AD&D Insurance People Perks If you're looking for a unique opportunity to contribute to advanced aerospace technology while utilizing your precision welding and assembly skills, we want to hear from you.
