Buyer II Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and supply chain industry, is seeking a Buyer II to join their team. As a Buyer II, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting the purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Irving, TX Pay Range: $30/hr -$32/hr What's the Job? Assist Senior Buyer with tactical purchasing support to ensure smooth procurement processes. Place and maintain purchase orders (POs), route requisitions for approval, and handle related documentation. Handle non-conforming materials and coordinate supplier return authorizations to maintain quality standards. Resolve receiving incidents by working with suppliers and visiting the receiving dock to ensure proper labeling and compliance. Address invoice discrepancies to ensure timely supplier payments and maintain accurate financial records. What's Needed? Minimum of 3+ years of procurement experience, with preferred experience in standard purchasing policies and processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic understanding of purchasing policies and procedures.
