Responsibilities As a Produce Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market you will live our name daily. All produce is farm fresh and must be handled, prepared and merchandised to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. You will stock the department, present product, face and fill items according to schematics, ensure tagging and pricing accuracy, manage inventory to maintain freshness and availability, and answer customer questions in a friendly manner. You will also sell produce and support customers in healthy choices. Team Member Restrictions Team members under 18 are restricted from the following tasks: Using a knife (other than safety cutters) Using a ladder Operating a garbage or cardboard compactor Operating any motor‑electronically powered equipment (including manual pallet jacks) Working in coolers or freezers for prolonged periods Qualifications Be at least 16 years of age Be dependable, reliable and willing to work a flexible schedule, including night, weekends, and holidays Show mutual respect for others and uphold a high‑level code of ethics within Sprouts’ culture of diversity, equity and inclusion Have a positive attitude and be able to interact with customers Have good communication skills and be able to follow direction and work in a team environment Be able to perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize and stay organized Requires standing, walking, bending, climbing during the entire work day and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 lbs. spanning 4"‑72" for distances up to 3 ft. without assistance and moving a utility cart holding 20 lbs. requiring a force up to 35 lbs. up to 2 h, 20 ft. Be able to walk up to 5 miles in an 8‑hour shift Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations Be able to perform other related duties as assigned Pay Range The pay range for this position is $17.70 – $23.88 per hour, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
