Job Description MACHINIST, MAINTENANCE Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: None Clearance Level Must Be Able To Obtain: Secret Public Trust/Other Required: None Job Family: SCA Skills: Job Qualifications Job Qualifications: Blueprints, CNC Machines, CNC Mastercam, Milling Machines, Teamwork Certifications: None Experience: 3 + years of related experience US Citizenship Required: Yes Responsibilities Interpret technical manuals, procedures, blueprints, diagrams, and perform basic layout functions Setup and operate vertical and/or horizontal 5-axis CNC mills Ensure proper care and use of basic hand tools (own tools required) Preferred Qualifications Strong mathematical skills Vocational, Technical, Community Colleges or Apprentice programs Machine technology educational program Shipbuilding/Marine Advanced Manufacturing Institute (SAMI) program completion Skills Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Self-starter with good problem solving skills Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment to meet organizational goals Physical Qualifications Climbing, Crawling, Kneeling, Light Lifting, Medium Lifting, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Stooping, Twisting Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
