This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of electrical systems, including AC, power plants, wiring, and PLC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all these areas, with a proven track record of success in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical systems. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package, with opportunities for professional development and advancement.Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.Perform general electrical maintenance on AC systems, power plants, and other related equipment.Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and specifications to perform assigned tasks.Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic electrical systems.Ensure good quality workmanship which upholds company standards, complies with building codes, and follows safety requirements.Work independently in troubleshooting and providing solutions to unresolved maintenance problems.Qualifications:Proven experience as an electrician.Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.Valid license to practice the profession.Proven experience with AC, power plant systems, wiring, and PLC.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of integrity and professionalism.Must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician who is looking to take the next step in their career.
