About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Trading and Product Risk Intelligence. This strategic leadership role involves overseeing a team of subject matter experts dedicated to identifying, analyzing, and predicting regulatory trends and their potential impact on member firms, customers, and financial markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing finished intelligence products on emerging product-specific risks and critical market events, using proactive and predictive analytics. The role also requires close collaboration with Regulatory Operations Analytics to evaluate product-level and market-wide risks. The VP will be a key member of the senior management team, driving strategic discussions, and engaging with industry participants, including regulators, law enforcement, and market infrastructure providers. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for advanced degrees, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination. Deep technical expertise in intelligence disciplines, market operations, regulatory frameworks, and complex financial products is essential. The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate complex intelligence clearly. The VP will be expected to demonstrate sound judgment, impeccable integrity, and a commitment to transparency. Experience in the financial services sector, particularly with broker-dealers or financial institutions, is highly valued, as is a proven track record in adapting technology innovation to business problems. The position requires a candidate with exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple assignments, and a proactive approach to managing team resources and budget.
