Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care on a 30-bed unit specializing in medical-surgical and telemetry services. The nurse will be responsible for interpreting telemetry strips and caring for patients with various medical and surgical diagnoses. Job Details Location: Not specified Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing; ability to read and interpret telemetry strips; pass dysrhythmia exam on hire (must score at least 80% in two attempts). Experience: Preferred candidates will have experience with telemetry and managing patients with diagnoses including MRSA, C-diff, pneumonia, COVID, and others. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, interpret telemetry readings, participate in patient education, and potentially precept nursing students. Additional Information: The position involves rotation into other units such as Pediatric and Multi Care Units, with float requirements. The nurse must attend hospital and unit orientation, and follow dress code guidelines. Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend and rotational holiday coverage. Submission Requirements: Valid license to submit application, and must attend orientation sessions. Experience requirement: 0 years minimum (candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience).
