BAS Controls Technician – Tulsa, OK – $34.00–$48.00/hr + OT – Commercial & Industrial HVAC Controls About the Opportunity A well-established Building Automation & HVAC Controls organization is seeking a skilled BAS Controls Technician to support commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities throughout the greater Tulsa area. This role focuses on hands‑on DDC installation, service, troubleshooting, and commissioning for a wide range of HVAC and energy management systems. Position Details Title: BAS Controls Technician Location: Tulsa, OK (regional customer sites) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate: $34.00 – $48.00/hr (Depending on Experience) Overtime: Available Vehicle: Company Vehicle or Monthly Allowance Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Vacation, Holidays, and Sick Time Company Laptop & Phone Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and service BAS/DDC controllers , sensors, and associated HVAC control devices Perform start‑up, functional testing, point‑to‑point verification, and system commissioning Diagnose and resolve controls‑related issues, including programming errors, device faults, and communication failures Modify and update system graphics, databases, schedules, and alarms Install and terminate low‑voltage control wiring, conduit, and field devices Collaborate with mechanical contractors, facility managers, and engineering teams during project execution Document system adjustments, testing results, and service activities Ideal Candidate 2–5+ years of experience with BAS, DDC, or commercial HVAC controls Hands‑on background with platforms such as Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Distech Strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals, control sequences, and system integration Experience with BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks communication protocols Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, submittals, and sequences of operation Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and customer interaction abilities How to Apply If you have strong experience in BAS/HVAC controls and want to join a growing team in the Tulsa market, please submit your application through this posting.
