Elwood Staffing in Pueblo is hiring an HR Generalist for a local manufacturing company! This position will support day-to-day HR operations, assist employees with HR-related questions, maintain personnel records, support recruiting and onboarding, and help with company policies and procedures. Previous HR experience is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are required.

HR Generalist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 30.00 to $ 33.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)

In conjunction with the HR Manager and the HR Supervisor, develop and administer programs and processes that facilitate employee retention, employee recognition and employee reward systems.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

Contributes to the team by offering advanced knowledge in recruiting, Microsoft excel graphs and reporting.

Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management

HR Generalist Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Prior related office experience preferred.
