We embrace change and always look for the next evolution of what we can do. *Internal & External About The Role Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position is responsible for the overall operational and merchandising functions of the store to achieve maximum profitability and to continue to provide the best-in-class guest service for which Sturtevant’s is known. Essential Functions Generate sales, and demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service Evaluate sales trends and create methods for sales growth Hiring, training, coaching, leading and maintaining a high-quality staff Function as a training resource for employees in POS, product knowledge, and sales Communicate company values and goals to the employees Monitor and control expenses as set within the budget Administer policies as may be necessary Administer company procedures, including cash handling, safety and loss prevention Maintain merchandising and cleanliness standards Manage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals Demonstrate excellent knowledge of products and industry trends Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards Conduct performance reviews for coaching / development of staff on a regular basis Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of two years of retail experience Minimum of three years of supervisory experience Experience in the snow sports industry Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Excellent communications skills both written and verbal Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task Familiarity with retail POS systems is preferred English fluency, written and verbal Must be able to stand for extended periods of time The Perks and Benefits: ( * Benefits for Year Round Full-Time Employees) Free Employee Ski Pass Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance* Employer Paid Basic Life Insurance and AD&D* Voluntary Life Insurance (Employee/Spouse/Child)* Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts* 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match Paid Time Off* Paid Sick Time (State applicable) Paid Parental Leave* Short-Term and Long-Term Disability* Employee Discounts (ski, retail, outdoor industry) Equal Opportunity Employer Sturetevant’s is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
