Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) with rotating days off and on-call rotation | Expect to work some holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a range of surgical specialties including General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Trauma, and ENT
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required within the OR setting
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative continuum
• Accurately document patient care activities using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required prior to start date (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Experience in General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Trauma, and ENT surgical specialties
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and work rotating days off
• Must pass an on-site drug screen prior to assignment (panels include: Amphetamine, Barbiturate, Benzodiazepine, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Methadone, Opiates, Oxycodone, PCP, Marijuana, and Buprenorphine)
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric surgical experience
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
