Academic Counselor
EntreNous Youth Empowerment Services, Inc.
EntreNous Community Empowerment seeks to hire a full-time Academic Counselor to support students (members) primarily in the YouthBuild Charter School of California (YCSC) high school diploma program co-located at EntreNous Community Empowerment. The Academic Counselor is experienced in high school and/or alternative education and provides intensive support for people ages 16+. The successful candidate has strong critical thinking skills in completing administrative tasks regarding class schedules, transcript planning, data entry, implementing enrollment processes for programs, and documented experience working in intervention programs for at-risk people. In addition, the Academic Counselor initiates member contact to ensure member success in the program; counsels on attendance and other issues; develops and implements recruitment and retention strategies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
