Mechanical Installation Technician
Direct Hire | $25 to $30+/hr. | Shelby Township, MI
Do you enjoy working with your hands and building something from the ground up? Join a growing team that custom builds commercial work trucks by installing service bodies, hydraulic systems, 12-volt electrical components, generators, and other specialized equipment.
You'll work alongside an experienced team in a clean, organized shop where quality craftsmanship and attention to detail matter.
What You'll Do- Assemble and install truck equipment and mechanical components
- Install hydraulic hoses and basic 12-volt electrical systems
- Use hand and power tools to complete installations
- Read work orders and follow assembly specifications
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety
- Mechanical assembly or other hands-on mechanical experience
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and 12-volt electrical systems
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license
- Direct hire opportunity
- $25 to $30+/hr. (higher pay considered for exceptional experience)
- Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime available
- Small team with a supportive, hands-on manager
- Clean, organized shop
