Title
Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Telemetry

Schedule
Shift: Nights 18:45-07:15 (36 hours per week)
Weekend requirement: ~4 per 4 weeks (flexible)

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years cardiac floor experience required
- Traveler experience required unless candidate has >24 months cardiac experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal
- Key clinical skills: cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation/management, post-MI and post-cardiac cath care, sheath removal and femoral sheath care, management and titration of cardiac drips, chest tube care, external CPAP/BiPAP, non-invasive airway support, familiarity with arterial lines, Doppler, EKG monitoring

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a cardiac telemetry environment
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings and manage dysrhythmias
- Oversee post-cardiac surgery recovery, including assessment and intervention
- Administer and titrate cardiac medications and drips as prescribed
- Ensure proper care of chest tubes and airway support devices

Compliance / Notes
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
- Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
- RTO after booking is not allowed; call-offs/additional RTO may lead to cancellation/DNR
- Candidates may be required to report during disasters or catastrophic events
