If you're passionate about improving oral health and creating satisfied patients, we invite you to join us in redefining the culture of dentistry.Tuesday/Thursday (in Downers Grove) 7:45am-6:00pmWednesday/Friday (in Bolingbrook) 7:45am-6:00pm(2) Saturdays a Month 6:45am-2:30pmKey ResponsibilitiesProvide assistance to surgeons during procedures including preparation and documentationProvides excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors which includes but not limited to: charting and operatory set-up and clean-upAbility to work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal skills such as establishing positive relationships with our team and patientsAbility to communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approachTake dental radiographs/x-rays as well as cone beam 3D scansMotivated to learn more and provide the best patient care at all timesMaintain a caring and friendly environment that emphasizes patient careAssist with Sedation Processes -prepare patients for treatment by talking them through the procedureMonitor Patient Vital Statistics -monitor patient vital statistics and intravenous fluids during surgery and notify the surgeon about an issue as soon as it occurs.Sterilize Equipment- Keeping the surgery area clean and tidy is a key aspect of an oral surgery assistant's role, so it's important that all equipment is sterilized before and after use and that all preparation areas are thoroughly cleaned to meet health and safety regulationsProvide Post-Operation Advice- After surgery, oral surgery assistants provide patients with follow-up instructions and postoperative care tipsAbility to take impressions and pour up plaster diagnostics modelsWhat You'll Need to SucceedDental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.3-5 years of experience preferredRadiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).Current CPR certification.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.A commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.Comprehensive Benefits Including 401(k).Paid Time Off Competitive PTO that grows with your career.Career Growth Opportunities for continuing education and development.Exciting Work Environment A supportive atmosphere that celebrates individuality and teamwork, allowing you to thrive.We embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
