Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct radiographic exams and imaging procedures as requested by healthcare providers.
  
  
• 
  Operate fluoroscopic and C-Arm equipment in surgical, trauma, and emergency settings.
  
  
• 
  Assist with US-guided procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis alongside radiology staff.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients on preparation and post-care instructions for radiology procedures.
  
  
• 
  Complete accurate documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of images.
  
  
• 
  Maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Graduate of an accredited CAHEA or equivalent Radiology program.
  
  
• 
  Montana Radiology Technologist licensure and ARRT registration.
  
  
• 
  Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of one year of radiology experience, including clinical internship.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in advanced imaging techniques within six months.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively in a busy, high-pressure environment with strong interpersonal skills.
