Utilize a dynamic and functional approach to help patients overcome functional limitations related to musculoskeletal conditions. Combine manual therapy techniques and exercise strategies to help patients move and feel their best Take a whole-body approach to locate the source of a patient’s injury, pain, or dysfunction. Communicate with the Therapist to ensure accurate interpretation of a patients plan of care and instructions for the rehabilitative program. Comply with insurance authorization guidelines as directed by the Therapist. Report on patients’ status and progress, to include but not limited to, performing measurements, making clinical observations and gathering supplementary information provided by the patient. Consider individual patient treatment goals and activities based on the Therapists evaluation of patient data and demographics. Administer treatment to improve and maintain medically necessary and appropriate intervention evaluates its effects. Communicate with the Therapist and provide direction to the physical therapy technician appropriately for assistance in completion of patient care. Maintain patient records in accordance with State and Federal guidelines, HIPAA compliance, and company policies. Take proactive measures to follow and remain current on professional documentation and reimbursement guidelines. A commitment to Spooner's mind, body, and spirit treatment philosophy. Current licensure as a PTA or graduate of CAPTA accredited physical therapy institution.
