Start Date: ASAP Certification Requirements:
- COTA - Oregon License (Required)
- BLS Certification - AHA or ARC (Required)
- Active Oregon licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to implement treatment plans developed by an Occupational Therapist
- Knowledge of geriatric and post-acute rehab practices
- Ability to document care and patient progress accurately
- Effective problem-solving and time management skills
- Experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred
- Provide therapeutic activities and treatments as directed by the OT
- Support patients in improving their ability to perform daily living tasks
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the care team
- Foster positive, therapeutic relationships with patients and their families
- Collaborate with facility staff to enhance patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with state and federal rehab regulations
