Job Details Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 14 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 12 hours nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required Interpret doctors’ written instructions correctly Appropriately position patients for scans of specific body areas Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality Follow safety procedures when working with radiation Maintain accurate patient records Use the McKesson PACS system effectively Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist Current BLS certification, ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, and state‑specific licensing when required Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop as needed Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Additional certifications may be required before assignment begins Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
