Corporate Associate or Partner /M&A/PE

CB Consulting Group, LLC is working with a well-regarded Boston law firm that is seeking a corporate associate to join its growing M&A practice. This is a strong opportunity for an attorney looking to deepen their transactional experience within a collaborative, sophisticated practice group. About the Role The firm is seeking an associate to support a full range of mergers and acquisitions matters, including deal structuring, due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and advising clients through all stages of the deal lifecycle. Responsibilities Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, merger agreements, disclosure schedules, and related transactional documents Conduct legal due diligence and manage diligence teams across complex deals Advise clients on corporate governance, entity formation, and general corporate matters Coordinate with tax, employee benefits, IP, and other specialty groups on deal-related issues Manage closing mechanics and post-closing integration matters Build and maintain client relationships as a trusted transactional advisor Qualifications JD from an accredited law school; strong academic record Active member of the Massachusetts Bar (or eligible for admission) 3+ years of experience in corporate/M&A transactional work at a law firm Experience with capital markets and/or private equity transactions is a plus Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and sound business judgment What the Firm Offers Competitive compensation and benefits package Direct client contact and significant deal responsibility Collaborative team culture with strong partner mentorship Hybrid work flexibility This firm will also consider partner level candidates with a book of business of $500k+ #J-18808-Ljbffr CB Consulting Group, LLC
