Electrical Harness Engineer - Level 2

You will be the Electrical Harness Engineer for the Electrical Engineering Team which is responsible for delivering advanced wiring and power system solutions for aerospace platforms. Your Responsibilities Produce detailed electrical wiring schematic drawings and develop intricate power distribution systems. Partner with subsystem engineers to define electrical loads, wiring requirements, and ensure seamless integration. Lead supplier management activities, including drafting statements of work and overseeing system check‑outs. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level: Top Secret. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline. Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams. Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent Electronic Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool. Experience performing Root Cause/Corrective Action troubleshooting. Hands‑on engineering experience with aircraft hardware or equivalent. Ability to obtain and maintain Active Secret/Top Secret clearance per business requirements. Desired Skills Electrical Harness Design and Installation Experience (highly desired). Experience working on a small team covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing. Engineering experience working power systems or performed electrical load analysis. Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly fabrication and installation methods and processes. Experience with Teamcenter, ENOVIA or equivalent PLM software. Active Secret/Top Secret clearance. 2 years of professional experience; or no experience with a related Master's degree. Pay Rate The annual base salary range for this position varies by location. For California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC it ranges from $70,100 to $123,625. For other states the range is based on work location. Pay is a general guideline only.
