Supply Technician

About the Role This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (i.e., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. Skills A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, worth methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. An understanding of specific needs and the analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels Track shipments and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions Assist with the preparation of purchase orders and other procurement-related documents Collaborate with other departments to ensure that supply chain processes are efficient and effective Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent 4+ years of experience in a supply chain or logistics role Supply Chain Management policies and regulations including FMR, FAR and DoD preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Forklift Certification a plus Benefits Traditional 401k and ROTH Retirement Accounts Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, EAP, Vacation, Sick Basic Term Life Insurance and voluntary supplemental insurance DEL REY complies with applicable Federal civil rights laws and does not discriminate.
