Position summary:

Insight Global is seeking a Benefits Administrator for our client based in Miami, FL. The Benefits Administrator will manage and administer employee benefits programs and core HR compliance functions. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and benefit providers. The right candidate for this role will be knowledgeable about various benefits programs and compliance, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.

This permanent position is hybrid-remote based in Miami, FL.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily HRIS updates and transactions, including new hires, terminations, employment status changes, start dates, manager/role changes, and workflow management, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and data integrity through regular audits.
• Administer and manage all employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement (401(k)), and voluntary benefits. Maintain plan setup, configuration, rates, eligibility rules, employer contributions, deductions, and elections within HRIS/payroll and benefits administration platforms.
• Coordinate enrollment and eligibility processes for new hires, qualifying life events, and annual open enrollment. Collaborate with benefit providers to ensure enrollments, changes, and terminations are processed accurately and on time.
• Manage monthly reconciliation of benefit invoicing and enrollment records.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and claim resolution, including coordinating new-hire benefits orientation and ongoing employee education regarding benefits programs.
• Oversee Leave of Absence administration, including FMLA, ADA, Personal Leave, COBRA, and Return-to-Work processes. Manage Workers' Compensation claims in coordination with employees, insurance carriers, medical providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee PTO policy administration within the HRIS system, including policy updates, annual resets, and responding to employee and leadership questions regarding accruals and balances.
• Oversee the I-9 and E-Verify process, including user administration, completion support, reverifications, and issue resolution.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable federal, state, and local benefits regulations, including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other relevant legislation. Prepare required reports and filings, support audits, and maintain compliance documentation.
• Respond to escalated employee inquiries through the organization's ticketing system and generate analytics and reporting for leadership.
• Support employee wellness and health initiatives designed to enhance the overall benefits experience.
• Maintain employee records and other HR-related documentation as needed. xhyhwjd
