Job Description

• Develop Individualized Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and devise tailored treatment strategies designed to help them fulfill their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and the activities of daily living
• Engage in Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner closely with fellow OTRs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver integrated, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Guide patients and caregivers through therapy processes to foster continued progress in home settings
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical advancements and modify therapy approaches as necessary to keep patients on the right path

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or additional certifications highly encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
