About the Position

Job Title: LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: LTAC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 - 18:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Must have a valid RN license Certifications: Must have ACLS & BLS certifications Must-Have: - Vent/trach experience - Knowledge of central lines - Preferred wound care experience Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds responsibility for providing care to patients. This care is delivered by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment. Leadership is required in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education is essential. The nurse will delegate patient care priorities according to the education and experience of the available staff. Direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care is expected. Patient ratios are 1:6.
