In this role, you will operate wire-guided powered equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling machinery to safely load, move, and position freight. You will also support cross-dock and consolidation functions to ensure accurate, efficient product flow throughout the warehouse./ppThis position is ideal for individuals who enjoy equipment operation, fast-paced environments, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety./ppPay Schedule/pulliStarting Pay: $22.00/liliShift Differential: .75/liliSchedule: Monday- Friday 3:00 PM 11:00 PM/li/ulpPosition Summary/ppThe Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating powered equipmentincluding forklifts and wire-guided systemsto prepare, load, and move freight. You will ensure product accuracy, maintain clean work areas, and follow all safety requirements. This role also supports basic cross-dock and consolidation activities to keep warehouse operations running smoothly./ppPrimary Job Duties Responsibilities/ppEquipment Operation/pp Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, wire-guided vehicles, and other powered equipment./pp Perform preliminary safety inspections on all assigned equipment./pp Maintain required certifications for wire-guided power equipment and radio-frequency unit use./ppLoading Trailer Preparation/pp Move and position freight onto trailers safely and efficiently./pp Verify trailer size and number, review load requirements, and check orders for accuracy./pp Secure merchandise using tape, shrink wrap, or other stabilizing materials./pp Ensure proper weight distribution for safe transport and vehicle stability./pp Maximize trailer space while minimizing load imbalance and damage risk./ppQuality, Accuracy Inventory Support/pp Inspect products for damage or defects; report quality concerns promptly./pp Verify product specifications, SKUs, quantities, and labels match order requirements./pp Support inventory accuracy by tracking item movement, documenting discrepancies, and assisting with stock monitoring./pp Maintain clean, safe work areas in alignment with facility safety guidelines./ppCross-Functional Warehouse Support/pp Coordinate with warehouse personnel, loaders, and drivers to support efficient workflow./pp Understand basic cross-dock functions, including unloading inbound freight, checking for damages/accuracy, and sorting by destination./pp Perform basic consolidation tasks such as stacking product efficiently, maximizing pallet capacity, and securing pallets for safe movement./ppEducation/pp High School Diploma or GED required./ppQualifications/pp Must be at least 18 years old./pp Ability to obtain and maintain certification on warehouse powered equipment./pp Ability to read, write, and count accurately./pp Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills./pp Ability to lift 3050 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs with team lift./pp Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment./pp Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime or weekends during peak periods./ppPreferred Qualifications/pp Prior warehouse experience./pp Previous powered-equipment experience (forklift, pallet jack, wire-guided systems)./ppHow to Apply/ppClick Apply Now to join our team and start your career with us today!
