Senior Mortgage Loan Originator - Full Time

Senior Mortgage Loan OriginatorWe are seeking a Senior Mortgage Loan Originator to assist members with their mortgage lending needs, analyze loan requests, and make credit decisions based on mortgage lending policy. They will also provide direct support to other Mortgage Loan Originator's and processing staff.Key responsibilities include inputting complete and accurate residential loan applications according to established company and regulatory guidelines, evaluating applications for approval/denial and making requests to borrowers for any additional information necessary, understanding and articulating financial calculations and current rates and pricing, establishing terms and conditions of approved loan, completing rate lock for secondary market, sending, receiving and reviewing application disclosure packets from borrowers, developing business relationships with realtors and other professional referral sources, attending networking functions, both during and after normal business hours, and maintaining required NMLS registry, including compliance with all guidelines and continuing education.Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, four to six years of similar or related experience, a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized certification or licensing preferred, exceptional customer service experience, and strong communication skills and attention to detail.What we offer includes a competitive salary and benefits, opportunities for career growth, and a supportive team environment.Schedule is Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturday hours 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (typically works one Saturday per month), full time employees have a 40-hour work week within the hours listed above.
