Senior Accounting Associate
$21.75 - $25.9 per hour Region:
-Manage and reconcile campus budget allocations, expenditures, and approved budget amendments.
-Process purchase orders, campus travel requests, staff reimbursements, warehouse orders, and purchasing card (P-Card) transactions.
-Track, input, and balance student activity accounts, event ticket sales receipts, and campus cash/check deposits.
-Maintain fixed assets inventory and prepare property loss or incident reports as required.
-Resolve budget-related variances with district Financial Services, Payroll, and Budget Offices.
-Support front-office operations: assist visitors, answer calls, and address basic parent/student questions. Qualifications:

Description/Notes:Join the team at McNeil High School. We are hiring a Senior Accounting Associate to manage and maintain campus budgets, accounting procedures, and daily financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:-Manage and reconcile campus budget allocations, expenditures, and approved budget amendments.
-Process purchase orders, campus travel requests, staff reimbursements, warehouse orders, and purchasing card (P-Card) transactions.

-Education & Experience: Associate degree plus 1 year of related bookkeeping or accounting experience, OR a combination of education and experience equivalent to 3 years.
-Technical Skills: Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial accounting software.
-Knowledge: Familiarity with standard school finance practices, Texas Education Agency (TEA) accounting guidelines, and UIL regulations is a plus.
-Work Environment: Ability to handle frequent interruptions, prioritize tasks independently, and lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
Hourly Rate Range: $21.75-$25.90
