Ladgov Corporation is seeking qualified Line Cooks to provide food service support at the La Rochelle Dining Facility located at Fort Carson, Colorado. The selected candidates will support daily dining facility operations by preparing and serving meals, maintaining food service areas, and ensuring proper sanitation and cleanliness standards are maintained.

The Cook will work as part of a professional food service team supporting military dining operations and ensuring consistent, high-quality meal service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve food items according to established recipes and food service requirements.
• Support daily meal preparation and dining facility operations.
• Maintain food presentation areas, self-service stations, ice, and beverage areas.
• Assist with food setup, replenishment, and cleanup during designated meal periods.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation of cooking equipment, preparation areas, and kitchen spaces.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support additional food service duties as assigned by the dining facility supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook, line cook, food service worker, or similar role.
• Experience preparing meals in a high-volume food service environment preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards.
• Ability to pass required installation access/background requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Military dining facility (DFAC) experience.
• Institutional, cafeteria, restaurant, or large-scale food service experience.
• Experience preparing meals for large groups.

Schedule

Full-time position.
Work schedule will be based on dining facility operational requirements, including designated meal periods and possible weekends/holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry food supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to work in a kitchen environment with heat, noise, and continuous activity.
• Ability to perform repetitive food preparation and cleaning tasks.
