Description

Position Purpose:

The overall responsibility of cleaning the facility's interior and exterior to maintain a neat and clean environment for employees of Andrew Wommack Ministries, students and staff of Charis Bible College, as well as visitors.

Essential Duties:

• Clean, vacuum, and straighten chairs in the auditorium as well as classrooms and offices
• Dusting, sweeping/washing/waxing solid floor surfaces, stairs, cleaning windows/mirrors
• Clean kitchen/dining room tables, fixtures, and appliances, re-stocking of plasticware and paper plates, etc., straightening furniture, and freshening up
• Clean bathrooms and fixtures, and restock bathroom amenities
• Set up the auditorium and classrooms for school as well as other events
• Empty trash cans and maintain the cleanliness of the facility as directed
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must have good technical, reading, and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to perform physical labor and be able to sit/stand/walk for extended periods
• Develop and maintain cooperative working relations with those contacted in the course of work.
• Must be able to use and handle various cleaning products
• Basic skills for operating cleaning equipment and tools for general cleaning
• Must have good time management skills
• Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter
• Must be professional and friendly
• Must be able to physically lift 50lbs
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• May be required to operate an industrial weight carpet shampooer/floor scrubber and floor polisher

Requirements:

• Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Must sign the Statement of Faith
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• A Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred
• Must pass all required checks

Experience:

• Prior custodial experience is preferred
• Compensation is commensurate with experience
