Home Health Aide (HHA) – Rockland County, NY

Rockaway Home Care is growing our team of certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) throughout Rockland County, New York. $18–$22 per hour | Cases Across Rockland County | Flexible Scheduling

We serve clients across the county, including New City, Spring Valley, Suffern, Nanuet, and surrounding Rockland County communities. You are not expected to travel throughout the entire county. When you apply, tell us where you live, where you'd like to work, and your availability. Our team will work to connect you with an available client in an area that works for you.

What You'll Do

As a Home Health Aide with Rockaway Home Care, you will provide essential in-home support that helps clients maintain their comfort, dignity, and independence.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Supporting activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders as permitted
• Light housekeeping related to client care
• Companionship and emotional support
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
• Completing required care documentation
• Following the client's established plan of care

What You'll Need

• Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Dependability and professionalism
• Compassionate approach to caregiving
• Effective communication skills
• Previous home care experience preferred, but not required
