Maintenance Machinist

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Machinist in Griffin, GA. In this hands‑on and rewarding role, you will be responsible for supporting high-quality production processes through expert maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below. Responsibilities Performing routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment. Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/control issues to minimize downtime. Installing, calibrating, and maintaining industrial control systems and equipment. Collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure continuous improvement and equipment reliability. Qualifications Prior experience and knowledge as a machinist, electrical experience, industrial mechanic, or industrial controls technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics , and industrial electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
