Pipe Welder

Responsible for setting up equipment and weld pipe using Stick Piping & Weld and Tig. Handles the layout, assembly, installation on pipe. Opportunity to learn HVAC trade with installs/retrofits new HVAC systems (duct and pipe).

Weld using Stick Piping & Weld and Tig to Cut, Repair, Installs and performs retrofits on pipes/Mechanical service.
Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring/testing equipment.
Completes quoted projects and demand service calls while maintaining profitability. Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction.
Performs sub-contractor management on quoted projects.
Participates in after-hours quoted projects (as needed) per customer requirements.
Safely drives a motor vehicle and trailer as evidenced by past driving performance record. Meets requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirements.
Purchases materials and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers and sub-contractors.
Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle.

High School Diploma or GED.
Two-year technical degree in related field is preferred.
