We’re currently partnering with an established residential and commercial roofing contractor in Lake Wales, FL, seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily business operations, oversee employees and projects, and drive continued growth and operational success. What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee all day-to-day business operations, ensuring projects, employees, and internal processes run efficiently and align with company objectives
• Manage residential and commercial roofing operations, including project coordination, scheduling, resource allocation, and overall execution
• Lead and hold office staff, sales personnel, and operational teams accountable for performance, productivity, and established expectations
• Make independent, informed business decisions while maintaining clear communication with ownership regarding company performance and priorities
• Proactively identify operational challenges, develop solutions, and implement improvements to strengthen efficiency and profitability
• Evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for increased productivity, improved communication, and operational growth
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with internal teams to ensure deadlines, quality standards, and customer expectations are met
• Anticipate future business needs through forecasting, strategic planning, and effective allocation of personnel and resources
• Maintain strong customer relationships, address escalated concerns, and ensure a high standard of customer service
• Provide ownership with regular operational updates, performance insights, and actionable recommendations
• Support business development initiatives and sales activities when needed to strengthen customer relationships and drive company growth
• Represent the company professionally at networking events, trade shows, client meetings, and industry functions
• Utilize project management and operational software to maintain organization, track progress, and support efficient workflows

Who We’re Looking For

• Previous operations management experience within the construction industry is required , with roofing industry experience highly preferred
• Experience overseeing both residential and commercial construction operations
• Proven ability to lead employees, establish performance expectations, and maintain accountability across multiple departments
• Strong decision-making skills with the confidence to operate independently and take ownership of business outcomes
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions
• Experience with operational planning, forecasting, process improvement, and managing multiple projects or priorities
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, vendors, and ownership
• Professional, personable, and confident representing a company in customer-facing and business networking environments
• Previous business development, sales leadership, or customer relationship management experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with JobNimbus or similar construction management software is a plus
• Stable employment history demonstrating reliability, professional growth, and long-term commitment
• Must not be subject to an existing non-compete agreement that would prevent employment in this position

What You Can Expect

• $125,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (schedule varies)
