As a Security Officer Front Desk Concierge in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a tech, media, and telecom location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. This role offers the chance to be the first impression of the site while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $20.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk within a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and visitor information, issue visitor credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Support front desk operations by answering phones, providing directions, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing activity at entry points, confirming authorization for access requests, and following established escalation procedures when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
